| What Do I Feel as a Trainer? Being a pony Owner/Trainer is not a full time practice with Me... it is a facet of the Lifestyle that I live. I have many interests within the BDSM Lifestyle that do not involve pony play, such as I love bondage, spanking and paddling, using My floggers and single tail, My Violet Wand and more. But, of everything, it is the Pony Play and Training that is the most different. For Me, it is a different headspace. In what I would consider "mainstream BDSM activities", My headspace is very focused and intense as I bond on a "spiritual" level with My slave or submissive. To Me, everything and everyone in the room disappears as all My energy if focused on what I am doing with My slave or submissive. In Pony Play and Training, My headspace is a little less focused and I tend to be a little more aware of My surroundings. It is more sociable to Me and feels like more of a show or performance. My pony (ponies) goes into the "pony" headspace and take on the personality of the animal within them... they may act frisky at times and even skiddish at times when in a crowded area. It is not "My slave being made to act as a pony, it is My slave BECOMING a pony" that excites Me. I like the feeling of leading My pony around, exercising My pony or training My pony to perform in a high stepping gait or simply lunging the pony around in a circle. I like the idea that My pony cannot speak... not because of the bit, or because My pony is not allowed, but simply because "ponies cannot talk" !!! I do not expect a certain "Protocol" from My pony, as I wouldn't with My dog or cat... they are animals and are treated accordingly. They will eat when I feed them, they will eat what I feed them and they will drink when I offer water. I will ride when I want to ride, be pulled in a cart when I want to be pulled in a cart or leave My pony tethered to a post while I socialize with other Owners... or share My pony with others. I am responsible for the safety of My pony, and am NOT responsible for what My pony WANTS... I love the control. I have always been a "Control Freak" and this is an extension of this. In My day to-day relationship with My collared slaves, I respect them as people, as human beings they deserve respect and are not a lesser person because they are submissive. BUT, as My pony, they are lesser.. they are a lower form of life and I do not respect them as being on the same level as a human being. This is a concept that may be difficult to grasp by many, however, it is much easier to comprehend once you begin playing or training. Mistress Cyan |
